2025 State of the Union Address
Mizzou Rampage family,
As we prepare to launch our 2025 season, I want to take this opportunity to thank every parent, coach, volunteer, and supporter for your commitment to the growth and success of our program. This message outlines our expectations and structure for the season—please read it carefully, as these standards will guide everything we do moving forward.
---
Financial Commitments
All program fees must be paid in full. Participation in all team-organized fundraisers is required. These efforts support equipment, travel, uniforms, and the resources necessary to keep our players and cheerleaders competitive, safe, and proud to represent Mizzou Rampage.
---
Practice Expectations
Players must arrive prepared and fully equipped for every practice. Required items include:
Helmet and shoulder pads
Cleats
One (1) gallon of water
Any other gear provided by or associated with the team
No player or cheerleader is permitted to bring a cell phone to practice. In case of emergency, coaches will have access to phones and will contact parents directly.
---
Respect & Conduct
Every player and cheerleader is expected to show respect at all times—to coaches, teammates, parents, and staff. Likewise, we ask all parents and guardians to remember: we are an extension of you. What your child experiences in this program is a reflection of the values we all share.
Practice ends promptly at 8:00 p.m. Please be on time for pickup. If you are running late, notify the Program Director or a coach as soon as possible.
We strongly encourage all parents to build relationships with one another. A united and supportive parent community creates a better environment for our kids.
---
Non-Negotiables & Zero Tolerance Policies
There are clear lines we will not cross:
No criticism of coaches, players, cheerleaders, staff, opposing teams, spectators, or sponsors will be tolerated. Any concerns should be brought directly to the Program Director, Football Director, or President.
No bullying, including on social media.
No toys, water guns, or items unrelated to football or cheer will be allowed at practice.
No fraternization between coaches and parents outside the scope of football.
No private or intimate settings between any coach/staff and a player or cheerleader unless part of a team-sanctioned event or out-of-town game.
Medical conditions (e.g. asthma, allergies) must be reported immediately to a coach or the Program Director, and the necessary medication (e.g. inhalers) must be available at all times.
---
Disciplinary Measures
Any violations of the policies above will be taken seriously. Based on the severity of the incident, consequences may range from a verbal warning to immediate dismissal from the team or program.
---
Let’s lead with integrity, unity, and passion this season. Together, we are building more than just athletes—we’re developing leaders, teammates, and champions in life.
Thank you for your time, your trust, and your continued support. Let’s make the 2025 season our best yet.
Respectfully,
Mizzou Rampage Youth Football Program Leadership
