Hi Mizzou Rampage Families,

We're excited to offer several ways for you to support our program and significantly reduce your individual participation fees! Here's a breakdown of our fundraising initiatives:

1. $80 Non-Refundable Processing Fee:

  • This initial fee is required upon registration and helps cover essential administrative costs to get the season started.

2. Mizzou Rampage Raffle: Every Ticket Helps You!

  • Here's How It Works:

    • $80 Non-Refundable Processing Fee: This initial fee is required upon registration.
    • Early Bird Raffle Tickets: Pay your $80 processing fee by June 15th, 2025, and you'll receive your initial 15 raffle tickets immediately! This gives you the longest possible time to sell and earn money towards your fees.
    • Standard Raffle Tickets: For those who pay the processing fee after June 15th, your initial 15 raffle tickets will be distributed by the week of June 23rd, 2025.
    • Every Ticket Reduces Your Fee: Remember, for every $10 raffle ticket you sell, the full $10 goes directly towards reducing your individual $505 program fee!
    • Final Drawing on Game Day! The drawing for all the amazing prizes (Chiefs tickets, 75" TV, $250 cash!) will take place on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, our very first game day of the season! Stay tuned for the exact time and location of the drawing.

    NEW Incentive Rewards for Top Sellers!

    We want to reward your extra efforts! In addition to reducing your program fees, here's what you can earn:

    • Sell More Than 15 Raffle Tickets: If you sell more than the initial 15 required tickets, you will receive an awesome Mizzou Rampage Spirit Pack! Show your team pride with exclusive gear!
    • Top Seller Grand Prize: The participant who sells the most raffle tickets overall will win a brand new gaming system with gaming accessories! You'll get to choose between the latest Xbox Series X or a PlayStation 5!

    Key Dates to Remember:

    • Early Bird Processing Fee Deadline (for early raffle tickets): June 15th, 2025
    • Standard Raffle Ticket Distribution (for later processing fee payments): Week of June 23rd, 2025
    • Final Raffle Ticket & Money Turn-In Deadline: Friday, August 22nd, 2025

3. Every Kid Sports Pass: Financial Assistance for Eligible Families

  • What It Is: Every Kid Sports is a national non-profit that provides grants up to $150 per child, per season, to help cover registration fees.
  • Who's Eligible: Families enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC may qualify. Proof of active benefits is required.
  • How to Apply: Visit https://everykidsports.org/every-kid-sports-pass/. If approved, notify the Mizzou Rampage team immediately upon receiving your virtual card, as these funds will be applied to your fees.

4. All Kids Play: Individual Grants for Low-Income Families

  • What It Is: All Kids Play offers individual grants to athletes from low-income families (using federal poverty guidelines) to help with registration fees and other sports costs.
  • Eligibility: Explore their website https://allkidsplay.org/youth-sports-grants/ to see if your family meets their income requirements. Grants are paid directly to Mizzou Rampage on your behalf if approved.

5. Calendar Donations: Small Contributions, Big Impact!

  • How It Works: Participants can ask friends and family to donate a dollar amount corresponding to the day of the month. For example, on the 1st, a donation of $1; on the 15th, a donation of $15, and so on.
  • Your Effort: We will provide you with a calendar to track donations. Every dollar collected goes directly towards your individual program fee.

6. Donation Letter (Bronze Sponsorship): Support a Kid Directly!

  • What It Is: We will provide you with a donation letter to share with local businesses or individuals. We encourage you to aim for the Bronze Sponsorship Package of $250.
  • The Benefit: If you secure a $250 donation using this letter, the entire amount will be applied directly towards your child's program fee.

Important Note Regarding All Kids Play Grants: Please remember that the All Kids Play individual grant program is separate from using the donation letter. We encourage you to explore both opportunities.

New Fundraising Opportunity: Earn Money with Crowd Systems!

Mizzou Rampage is excited to offer a unique fundraising opportunity through a local Kansas City company, Crowd Systems. Crowd Systems hires individuals for various events in the area, paying $15 per hour per person. This is a fantastic way for families to work together and significantly lower the cost of a participant's program fees! All earnings can be directly credited towards your Mizzou Rampage $505 program fee (after the initial $80 non-refundable processing fee is paid).

The Power of Teamwork: Lower Your Costs Together!

Consider how multiple family members can contribute to make the program fee more manageable:

  • Example 1: A Little Effort from Two: Instead of one parent working a significant number of hours, if two family members each work approximately 14 hours at Crowd Systems events, they can collectively earn around $420, nearly covering the entire $425 remaining program fee!

  • Example 2: Small Contributions from Three: If three family members each work just under 10 hours at different Crowd Systems events, they can each earn around $150, totaling approximately $450, which would fully cover the remaining program fee and even provide a small surplus!

By having two or three family members pitch in and work a few events, the financial commitment for one participant becomes much less burdensome on a single individual. This is a great way to involve the whole family in supporting your young athlete's participation in Mizzou Rampage!

Getting Started:

  1. Express Interest: Contact Erica to express your interest in working with Crowd Systems. You can find her phone number on the Mizzou Rampage website.
  2. Information Sharing: Erica will connect you with the relevant contact at Crowd Systems and provide you with necessary information.
  3. Work Events: Sign up for events that fit your family's schedules.
  4. Report Your Hours: Ensure all hours worked are reported to Crowd Systems and Erica.
  5. Fee Reduction: Earnings will be applied to your outstanding program fee balance.

Payment Option for Calendar Donations & Raffle Cash:

To make it easier to submit the funds you collect from the Calendar Donations and Raffle ticket sales, we are offering the option to pay via PayPal!

Here are the ways you can use PayPal to submit your collected cash:

  1. If You Have Your Own PayPal Account:

    • You can send the total amount collected directly to the Mizzou Rampage PayPal account:https://www.paypal.biz/mizzourampage
    • Please ensure you include the participant's name(s) in the "Note" section of your PayPal payment so we can properly credit their account.
  2. Cash Deposit to PayPal via Participating Stores (Requires a PayPal Balance Account):

    • PayPal allows you to add cash to your PayPal balance at various participating retail locations nationwide, including stores like Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Dollar General, and Family Dollar.
    • How to do it:
      • Via the PayPal App (Recommended): While at the store, open your PayPal app, go to your Wallet or Balance, and select "Add Cash." Choose the store you're at to generate a barcode. Show this barcode to the cashier and hand them the cash you want to deposit. The funds are usually added to your PayPal balance within minutes.
      • Using a PayPal Debit Card (If you have one): If you have a PayPal Debit Card, you can simply go to the register at a participating store and ask to add cash to your PayPal account. Swipe your card and hand the cash to the cashier.
    • Important Notes for Cash Deposits:
      • You will need a personal PayPal account with a PayPal balance to use this option.
      • Participating stores may charge a fee of up to $3.95 per transaction for this service. Please check with the store before making the deposit.
      • There are typically daily and transaction limits for cash deposits (e.g., $20 to $500 per transaction, with daily limits). Check the PayPal app for current limits.
  3. QR Code (Potentially Available):

    • Mizzou Rampage may also provide a unique QR code that you can use to send PayPal payments. If we have a QR code set up for this purpose, we will share it with you. You can then scan this code using your PayPal app to send the collected funds.

Important Reminders:

  • Please ensure all PayPal payments clearly indicate the participant's name(s) and the purpose of the payment (e.g., "Raffle Cash - [Participant Name]", "Calendar Donation - [Participant Name]").
  • While PayPal offers a convenient way to submit funds, please be aware of any potential fees associated with cash deposits at retail locations.
